In conjunction with Sydney landscape architects McGregor Coxall & Chrofi, Extrablack were commissioned to create a commemorative interpretive plinth to acknowledge the Anzac Centenary in April 2015.

The plinth was designed as a contemporary placemaking marker to identity the entry to the Soldiers Avenue of Honour. The materiality references historic military hardware and is robust enough to withstand corrosion arising from it’s coastal location and potential vandalism.

Soon to follow a series of in-ground interpretive panels located adjacent to the trees planted in remembrance of local soldiers who died in WWI.
