Working with CHROFI and PikeWithers, Extrablack was commissioned to develop the signage and wayfinding strategy for Levande Castle Hill, a premium vertical retirement village of five buildings set around a central courtyard. The approach translates the architecture and interiors into a system that is subtle, warm and easy to navigate, using colour and symbol-based cues to support residents living with dementia, and drawing on native flora and local heritage for building names to create a genuine sense of place.

Extrablack also designed the sales office and display suite, giving prospective residents an authentic first experience of the finished village ahead of its completion.
